Blocking Those Who Send Spam for Good
While most email programs have spam blocking capabilities spam mail will inevitably get through and junk up your inbox at some point. The good news is that there are several ways to deal with this effectively.
Spam Block Programs
There are a variety of spam blockers out there for you to choose from. They all have different options and features but their main purpose is the same: to keep spam out of your inbox. The type of email client you use will in many cases determine which of these programs you can use.
Unsubscribing.
If you’re getting spammed by someone repeatedly open one of their messages and look down at the bottom. Their should be a little link that you can click on to unsubscribe from their list stop them from spamming you. This unsubscribe link is required by law in many areas for people who create email mailing lists.
Spam Filters
The email client that you use may have a spam filter on it that you can use. These filters often times have options that allow you to make the filter more strict or more lenient towards spam and in many cases you can also set them to block certain types of email messages. Check your email client to see what’s available.
